The lecturers were among others: José Miguel Insulza, General Secretary of OAS; Alejandro Foxley, Foreign Minister of Chile; José Antonio Viera-Gallo, Chairman of Proyectamérica; Arturo Valenzuela, Director of Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos at Georgetown University; Ricardo Gil Lavedra, former Minister of Justice of Argentina; Edmundo Jarquin, former presidential candidate of Nicaragua; Soledad Alvear, Senator and former Foreign Minister of Chile; Antonio Navarro Wolf, General Secretary of the Party Polo Democrático from Colombia; Bernardo Sorj, Professor at Universidad Federal de Rio de Janeiro; Meter Hakim, Chairman of Inter-American Dialogue; Dante Caputo, Undersecretary of Political Affaires at OAS; and María del Luján Flores, Chairwoman of Permanent Council at OAS.
