CADAL takes part in a Forum on Human Rights in Latin America

The first meeting of the ''Forum on Human Rights in Latin America: a common agenda between political parties and civil society organizations'' was summoned by Generación Democrática.

On Thursday, November 22, the first meeting of the "Forum on Human Rights in Latin America: a common agenda between political parties and civil society organizations" was summoned by Generación Democrática. With the aim of contributing to the strengthening of democracy promoting associative processes between political parties and civil society organizations through dialogue and the development of a common agenda regarding human rights defense, the forum took place at CADAL's office.

Among the participants many human rights organizations were represented such as Fundación SES, Fundación El Otro, Crear Vale la Pena and INICIA. Also members from different political parties took part in the meeting, such as people representing Unión Civil Radical, ARI and PRO. In this opportunity, the meeting was focused on establishing the steps to come from 2008 on with the aim of strengthening the dialogue between political parties and civil society organization in order to strengthen, foster and improve the mutual work.
