Reform of the criminal justice and jail system in Uruguay

On Wednesday, October 1st, CADAL and the embassy of Switzerland presented the book “Reform of the criminal justice and jail system in Uruguay” in the hall of the Legislative Palace in Montevideo. The presentation was opened by Michel Coquoz, ambassador of Switzerland in Uruguay, and Gabriel Salvia, president of CADAL. Furthermore, three of the seven authors of the book participated: Beatriz Scapusio Minvielle, Alberto Reyes Oehninger and Rafael Ubiría Alzugaray. Alvaro Garcé, parliamentary jail commissioner and author of the book’s preface, closed the event.
