Kirchner's economics in an electoral year

With the participation of economists Pablo Guido and Tristán Rodríguez Loredo, analysts of CADAL, took place a new meeting of Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires. On this opportunity the meeting was focused on the economic policy of Kirchnerism in a year of presidential elections, including the analysis of the economic ''model'' and the economic policy of the government in the Detailed Memory of the State of the Nation 2010.

With the participation of economists Pablo Guido and Tristán Rodríguez Loredo, analysts of CADAL, took place a new meeting of Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires. On this opportunity the meeting was focused on the economic policy of Kirchnerism in a year of presidential elections. Guido referred to "K's economic model" and Rodríguez Loredo focused on the "economic and productive policy of the federal government in the Detailed Memory of the State of the Nation 2010". Among the participants were Hein de Vries, Ambassador of Netherlands, businessmen, professionals and officers of the embassies of Australia, United States, Ireland, Norway, Poland and Czech Republic.

During the first part of the Foro, Pablo Guido analyzed K's economic "model": Objectives, instruments and dynamique 2003-2010; Macroeconomic numbers of 2011: Public Expenditure, Revenews, Inflation and level of economic activity (services, industry and agribusiness); Employment and Unemployment; Salaries; Monetary agregates; deposits and credits; external accounts; how does the "movie" goes on in 2011?; Strengths and weaknesses of the economic policy; and post-electoral scenario.

Pablo E. Guido is Analyst of CADAL. He holds a Doctorate on Economics (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, España), Master in Economics and Business Administration (ESEADE), BA in Political Science (USAL) and BA in Economics (USAL). Besides, he is guest professor at Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala) and professor at Escuela Superior de Economía y Administración de Empresas (Argentina).

Then, Tristán Rodríguez Loredo, was in charge of the second parts giving details of the economic policy of the federal government in the Detailed Memory of the State of the Nation 2010, the annual report made by the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers and presented every March 1 by the head of the Executive Branch before the Legislative Assembly, opening the new period of sessions of the Federal Congress.

Tristán Rodríguez Loredo is Analyst and Director of the Advisory Council of CADAL. He is BA in Economics and Master in Sociology (Universidad Católica Argentina). Master in Management of Media Business and doctorate candidate of Public Communications (Universidad de Navarra, Spain). Professor at the Instituto de Comunicación Social (UCA) and the Facultad de Comunicación (Universidad Austral). As a journalist he served at El Cronista Comercial, Clarín, Editorial Atlántida, he was director of the magazines Negocios and Apertura and executive editor of Noticias. Currently he is columnist of the magazine Apertura, Target and suplements of El Cronista Comercial.
