Research Report edited by CADAL at Freedom Forum in Montevideo

On November 27, Círculo Liberal (Uruguay), Fundación Libertad (Uruguay) and Friedrich Naumann Foundation (representation in Argentina) organized at Universidad Católica de Montevideo the Freedom Forum 2006.

On November 27, Círculo Liberal (Uruguay), Fundación Libertad (Uruguay) and Friedrich Naumann Foundation (representation in Argentina) organized at Universidad Católica de Montevideo the Freedom Forum 2006. Hernán Alberro, Programs Director of CADAL took part in one of the panels where he presented his research report "Press Freedom and Economic Development in Latin America 2006". Alberro shared the panel with Gerardo Sotelo (radio and TV journalist), Claudio Paolillo (Director of Weekly Búsqueda), Ramiro Rodríguez Villamil (journalist, founder and irector of several news media) and Antonio Mercader (columnist of the Newspaper El País and former Minister of Culture of Uruguay).

In another panel entitled "What do successfull countries do and where are we heading to?", the participants were Ignacio de Posadas (former minister of Finance of Uruguay), Hernán Bonilla (Fundación Libertad), Ricardo López Murphy (RECREAR) and Carlos Escudé (Argentine sociologyst and writer).
