Invited by the ambassador of Netherland, S.E. Henk J.W. Soeters, the chariman of CADAL, Gabriel C. Salvia, attended to the reception in hommage to Theo van Boven, prestigious international jurist and human rights supporter, decorated by the authorities of Argentine Foreign Department with "Orden del Libertador San Martín" and by the Law College at Universidad de Buenos Aires with the title of “Doctor Honoris Causa”. Officers and human rights referents took part in the reception, such as Silvia Fernández, from the Human Rights Section at the Minister of Foreign Affairs, journalist Robert Cox and his wife, Estela de Carlotto and Horacio Verbitsky, among others.

Van Boven's testimony was very important during the judgement of the Juntas that took place in our country on 1985 since they showed that the military heads perfectly knew the existence of clandestine detention and torture centers and that they were not "excesses" but it was a perfectly set plan to prosecute and disappear people.
