Alejandro Anaya Muñoz
Academic Advisor
Vice Chancellor of the Iberoamerican University (Mexico). PhD in Government and MSc in Human Rights Theory and Practice at the University of Essex, England. He is a member of the Mexico’s Sistema Nacional de Investigadores del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT). Wrote three books and several articles. Some of his books are Human Rights Crisis in Mexico, co-edited with Barbara Frey (Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania Press, 2018) and Derechos humanos en y desde las Relaciones Internacionales (Mexico, 2014). His research has been focused lately around human rights and the international human rights regime influence.

The doctrine of human rights was concretized after a process of development of more than three centuries after the end of the Second World War and has changed the institutional panorama and the relations between actors at the international level.

Los derechos humanos son un área temática muy importante en las relaciones internacionales contemporáneas. La doctrina de derechos humanos, que tras un proceso de desarrollo de más de tres siglos se concretó tras el fin de la segunda guerra mundial, ha modificado el panorama institucional y las relaciones entre actores a nivel internacional.
