On the occasion of the International Human Rights Day, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, H.E. Mrs. Jarmila Povejšilová, in collaboration with CADAL, invited to a breakfast with the civil society, inspired by the breakfast offered by the French President François Mitterrand to the Czechoslovakian dissidents in 1988.
The meeting took place at the Czech Embassy in Buenos Aires during which the participants exchanged views on the current situation of Human Rights. CADAL's president, Sybil Rhodes; General Director, Gabriel Salvia; Communication Coordinator, Lisette Kugler; and academic advisor, Andrés Cañizález participated.
Other participants were Alain Espinosa, lawyer of Cubalex; Roberto Saba, professor of human rights and constitutional law at Universidad de Buenos Aires and Universidad de Palermo; Jimena de la Torre, member of the National Council of Magistrates; Mauro Vazón, President of the Council of Magistrates of the province of Entre Ríos; and Bogna Ruminowicz, counselor of the Embassy of Poland in Buenos Aires.
