Website of Uruguay Office Launched

The Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America (CADAL) announces the launch of the website for Uruguay Office www.cadal.org.uy where one can find the activities organized in that country: Latin American Forum (event dedicated to the analysis of current political and economic issues in Uruguay and Latin America); Perspectiva Magazine (Representation in Uruguay of Perspectiva: Revista de Política, Economía y Sociedad de América Latina); and Criminal Law and Jail Reform (diffusion of the need to reform the criminal and jail system in Uruguay, and the search for consensus in the legislative power).

So far, the activites of CADAL Uruguay had the support from the Swiss Embassy, El País newspaper, Cámara Nacional de Comercio y Servicios, Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel, Atlas Economic Research Foundation and Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). Besides, CADAL is honored by having Nelson Fernández, one of the most prestigious journalists in the country, as its Officer in Uruguay.
