CADAL cellebrates 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall

Representative officer from Poland, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Romania remembered the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall during the Foro Latino Global 2009, in a panel on ''Democratic governance, institutional quality and economic performance in Central and Eastern Europe''. At his time, Ricardo López Göttig, Director of the Academic Council of CADAL; writer Marcos Aguinis; Congressman and former Prime Minister of Peru, Jorge Del Castillo; and Christopher Sabatini, Editor-in-Chief, Americas Quarterly - Senior Director of Policy Americas Society/Council of the Americas, referred to “Latin America 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall”.
