CADAL participates in the World Movement for Democracy’s 9th Assembly in Dakar.
CADAL’s General Director, Gabriel Salvia, and Associated Researcher at CADAL Juan Pablo Cardenal participated in the World Movement for Democracy’s 9th assembly, which took place in Senegal’s capital. More than 300 activists from across the world were in attendance.
The Assembly took place from May 6 – 9, and its theme centered around building strategic partnerships for democratic renewal.

Juan Pablo Cardenal, Associated Researcher at CADAL and author of the book “China’s ‘Sharp Power’ in Latin America and the Argentinian Case,” participated in two panels during the 3-day event.

CADAL’s General Director, Gabriel Salvia, alongside Cuban activist Marthadela Tamayo, who forms part of the Citizen Committee for Racial Integration.
