Cuban historian and winner of the 2016 Ion Ratiu Prize Manuel Cuesta Morúa also attended the Congress upon invitation from CADAL.
The Latin American Studies Association (LASA) is the largest professional association in the world that brings together individuals and institutions that are dedicated to the study of Latin America.
