The entourage, headed by Mary-Ann Murray, Senior Operations Manager of Human Rights Watch, became interested in the work of CADAL and exchanged questions and experiences with the President of CADAL, Sybil Rhodes; the General Director, Gabriel Salvia; the Programs Director, Hernan Alberro and the Project Coordinator, Diana Arévalo.
Among other topics, they talked about the difficulties faced by international human rights organizations to work globally and regionally; the challenges of maintaining independent positions and the situations that human rights have in countries of the region.
