Analysis of the Milei administration
CADAL started its series of events for 2025 with the organization of a meeting of the Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires, this time discussing «A first balance and perspectives of Milei’s government». CADAL’s academic advisors Liliana De Riz, Ignacio Labaqui, Carlos Gervasoni and Marcos Novaro participated as speakers.
The meeting was held at the Argentine Center of Engineers and was attended by diplomats from the embassies of Germany, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Switzerland and the European Union.

In the first part of the meeting, Liliana De Riz analyzed “Milei's first year in Rivadavia's chair” and Ignacio Labaqui the “Challenges for the libertarian government in an election year”.

In the second part, Carlos Gervasoni and Marcos Novaro referred to "Economic performance, democratic governance and authoritarian features of Milei's government: Can economic success undermine Argentine democracy?”

The Latino Forums is an initiative of CADAL's project Democratic Governance Watch. The presentations of the speakers will be available on CADALTV YouTube channel, in the section “Intervenciones en eventos”.
