Disencounters of Freedom in Latin America

With the title ''Argentina and Latin America: Have classical liberal policies failed? Classical liberals as managers of the continuity of populism'' the seminar ''Disencounters of Freedom in Latin America'' came to an end. The closing panel was formed by Dr. Rüdiger Graichen, Representative in Argentina of Fundación Naumann; Andrés Cisneros, international analyst; Ricardo López Murphy, President candidate (Recrear); Teodoro Ribera Neumann, dean of Universidad Autónoma de Chile; and Rodolfo Terragno, National Senator (UCR).

On Thursday, October 4, with the title "Argentina and Latin America: Have classical liberal policies failed? Classical liberals as managers of the continuity of populism" the seminar "Disencounters of Freedom in Latin America" came to an end. The closing panel was formed by Dr. Rüdiger Graichen, Representative in Argentina of Fundación Naumann; Andrés Cisneros, international analyst; Ricardo López Murphy, President candidate (Recrear); Teodoro Ribera Neumann, dean of Universidad Autónoma de Chile; and Rodolfo Terragno, National Senator (UCR). El panel de cierre se realizó en el Hotel Claridge y contó con la participación de 200 personas.

Organized by CADAL, Friedrich Naumann Foundation and Political Science College at Universidad de Belgrano, the seminar lasted 6 meetings where different intellectuals, academics, politicians and journalists analyzed diverse aspects of the situation of freedom in our region.
