On Wednesday, October 31, journalist Fernando Laborda gave, at CADAL's office, an analysis on Argentine presidential elections, that took place on Sunday, October 28, 2007.

Fernando Laborda has been working for LA NACION for 20 years covering different areas on political journalism. Currently he serves as Chief Editorialist and political columnist in that paper. He has a degree on Political Science from Universidad del Salvador. He has a huge experience in the academics and research, and currently he is director of the BA in Journalism at Universidad de Belgrano. Among other distinctions, he recieved the Rodolfo Rivarola Award by Asociación Argentina de Ciencia Política (1986); a special mention in the Award "Coca Cola en las Artes y las Ciencias" (1987) in Journalism and the Award Freedom and Democracy (1991); and a special recognition for his support to education by Fundacion El Libro (2006). He is co-author of the books "La Reforma Política Argentina" (Editorial Polemos, 2002) and "Reinventar la Argentina" (Sudamericana, 2002). He also hosts the cable TV show "Cuarto poder".

Among the audiene were the Ambassador of Perú, Judith de la Mata Fernández de Puente; the Slovak Ambassador, Vladimir Grácz; and diplomats from Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, United States, Slovakia, Australia and European Union.
