Balance of the first half of the administration José Mujica

Uruguayan journalist Tomas Linn (center) participated as a guest speaker in a new meeting of Latin American Forum Buenos Aires, dedicated to make a ''Balance of the first half of the administration José Mujica and at the resignation at the start of the final stage''. It was attended by representatives of several embassies in Buenos Aires with concurrency in Uruguay, including SE Pavel Sipka, Ambassador of Slovakia (right).

Linn Thomas is columnist for the Uruguayan weekly "Búsqueda" since 1989 and professor of journalism at Universidad Católica del Uruguay. He began his career at El Diario de Montevideo in 1974. He worked in radio, television and briefly in Reuters. He was deputy editor of the weekly ‘Option’ and ‘Aquí’ in the 80s. He has a degree in Communication from Universidad Católica del Uruguay and was Humphrey Fellow at the University of Maryland (College Park) between 1995 and 1996. He wrote five books, the latest being "Nuestras democracias imperfectas".
