Presentation of the book «Human rights in international relations and foreign policy»
What are the arguments that argue that human rights should prevail over the sovereignty and interests of States, political and economic elites? What challenges do people who promote equality, freedom and human dignity face in the world? We try to answer these questions by presenting our book: ''Human Rights in International Relations and Foreign Policy.'' Together with KAS, we brought together Soledad Alvear (Former Chancellor of Chile), Alejandro Anaya (coordinator and author), Sybil Rhodes (author and president of CADAL) and Manuel Cuesta Morúa (author and Ion Ratiu 2016 award), to tell us a little more about the obstacles and challenges facing the human rights agenda in the world today. Gabriel Salvia (coordinator, author and General Director of CADAL) accompanied us in the moderation.
