Anti-Semitism in the European modernity
Under the topic “History of the anti-Semitism” the first class about “Anti-Semitism in the European modernity” was held. The seminar aims to further explore the kinds of stereotypes and myths which characterize a particular hatred as anti- Semitism and investigate why these lies still remain despite the efforts to combat them.

Under the topic “History of the anti-Semitism” the first class about “Anti-Semitism in the European modernity” was held. The seminar aims to further explore the kinds of stereotypes and myths which characterize a particular hatred as anti- Semitism and investigate why these lies still remain despite the efforts to combat them.

The seminar includes 7 classes, which take place in the Universidad del CEMA and a guided tour through the Holocaust Museum of Buenos Aires. The classes are in charge of Ricardo López Göttig, who holds a PhD in History (Karlova University in Prague) and participated as a fellow in the International Seminar for Teachers of Yad Vashem (Holocaust – Museum) in Jerusalem, January 2008.

The classes are open to the public, and the first was attended by more than 50 participants. Click here to access the complete programme.
