Will Chile Also Turn Right in Its 2017 Presidential Elections?
CADAL and the Political Science and International Relations Department at the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) organized a conference on Chile’s election prospects. Political scientist Patricio Navia was invited as a guest speaker.
Navia’s discussion was moderated by Ignacio Labaqui, professor at the UCA. The event took place in the Monseñor Derisi auditorium.
Patricio Navia holds a doctorate in political science from New York University. Navia received his master’s degree in political science from the University of Chicago and his bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology from the University of Illinois. Navia is a Master Teacher of Global Studies in the General Studies Program and Associate Professor at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies. In Chile, Navia is a political science professor at the Social Sciences Institute at the Universidad Diego Portales. He has authored several books, including “Las grandes alamedas. El Chile post Pinochet” (Mondadori, 2004). Navia is on the Academic Council for the Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America (CADAL).
