Rafael Uzcátegui
Human rights defender, sociologist and independent editor. He is currently the Director of the Peace Laboratory. Since 2006 he has been part of the Venezuelan Program for Education-Action in Human Rights (Provea), being its General Coordinator from 2015 to 2023. Author of the books "Rebellion beyond the Left", "Venezuela: The Revolution as Spectacle. An Anarchist Critique of the Bolivarian Government" and "Corazón de tinta". He is a regular columnist in different national and international media. Member of the War Resisters' International (WRI-IRG). Co-creator of the web radio "Humano Derecho".

Si muchas de las ideas de Cuesta Morúa le suenan en la Venezuela del 2023 fue porque se postularon ante la misma encrucijada: la necesidad de sustituir una estrategia -fallida- de transición a la democracia, bajo la dominación de un gobierno revolucionario por otra más eficaz, aunque sea gradual y cocinada a fuego lento.
