With the organization of a Diplomatic Forum on Thursday 25 and Latino American Buenos Aires Forum on Friday 26, the Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America celebrated its thirteen years of existence.

Bernabé García Hamilton, Secretary of CADAL, moderated the first panel of Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires held on Friday 26 on "Competitiveness and quality democratic politics in Latin America."
Political scientists Carlos Gervasoni, Liliana De Riz and Gerardo Scherlis participated as exhibitors in the Friday 25th panel in which a balance of the elections of 2015 in Argentina and challenges to consolidate a competitive democracy was made.
Eduardo Viola was one of the speakers at the panel discussing democratic institutions against the indefinite perpetuation in power in Latin America and the role of regional intergovernmental bodies.
