The conference took place at the Argentine Center of Engineers in the city of Buenos Aires.
The meeting was opened by Gabriel Salvia, General Director of CADAL and author of the report “De mal en peor. Cuba ante su cuarto examen de derechos humanos” ("From bad to worse. Cuba before its fourth human rights review").
Gabriel Salvia was followed by Camila Rodríguez’s remarks. She is Director of Justicia 11J, an organization that participated in several shadow reports for Cuba’s fourth UPR of Cuba. Finally, Rubén Chababo, academic advisor of CADAL, analyzed the responses of the Cuban dictatorship to the most critical recommendations.
The event featured the presence of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Argentina, H.E. Lubomir Hladik.
