Marie-Laure Geoffray
Academic Advisor
Professor of Political Science at the Institut des Hautes Études de l’Amerique Latine (IHEAL) at the Sorbonne and researcher at the Center of Studies for the Americas (CREDA). PhD in Political Science at Sciences Po (Paris) and Postdoctoral researcher at “desiguALdades.net” from the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut of the Freie Universität (Berlin). Since 2017, she has been a member of the Instituto Universitario Francés (IUF). She is an expert in the field of the protest dynamics in authoritarian contexts and democratization processes. She has published the book Contestar a Cuba and numerous articles in French, English and Spanish.
